MIL-DTL-85049 Military-Qualified Backshells

MIL-DTL-85049 backshells and accessories suit most modern military connectors such as MIL-DTL-38999 (all series), MIL-DTL-5015 front/rear release, MIL-DTL-26482 Series II, MIL-DTL-83723 Series III and MIL-DTL-81703 series III. These modern series of connectors do not come with backshells so they have to be ordered separately.

For older series such as MIL-C-5015 Solder and MIL-C-26482 Series I there are suitable dust covers and dummy receptacles in the M85049 range, however for backshells please contact us as M85049 may be unsuitable. These older military connector series usually come with backshells that are specified in the connector part number but if you want something non-standard there are other possibilities. The rear threads can vary from brand to brand so great care needs to be taken with these older series. We can guide you to something suitable.
